As a team they all played pretty well, hohaia/ Dawson dropped 2 kick offs which led to 2 tries which gave Huddersfield undue dignity imo (they were awful) - Mose, Sia (in his first stint, less so in his second) and Roby led the pack superbly with the youngsters around them (lms put in a few good runs, but wasn't in the same league as the 3 mentioned) greenwood was the stand out of the youngsters, poked his nose through on virtually every carry - was playing very centrally though. Walsh was an absolute maestro and wellens played his part very well. Wasn't a night for the outside backs but Dawson looked lively as anything, drove it in well, and continues to make breaks. Huddersfield had a lot of ball particularly in the first half and we looked solid in defence, for some reason we only looked shaky after we had an error - I'm starting to think there's a desire to make up for the error leading to worse defence then if we just approached it as a normal defensive set.
Overall was pleasantly pleasing performance, and went a long way to answering some of the critics - what is needed is to do it week on week on week now.
Wheeler recieved treatment during his second try but no injuries that I noticed.

I think Greenwood is the pick of the bunch from the youngsters. He's one of them forwards that has the ability to break the line. I'd be very tempted to stick with him as starting 2nd row. If we give him good ball running wide, he could do damage.

I must confess Thompson also had a very good game in defence from what I remember - were still struggling a little for go forward though - we struggled at times with Crabtree in particular but they put their body on the line and you can't ask for more than that!
Oh, and you'll be interested to know, we suffered the "Amor coming off" dip in intensity occurred when Mose came off tonight...

To be honest i don't think he was anything special tonight either Roby, Wheeler or Wilkin was your best in my opinion. You played with a bit of intensity and the Giants collapsed as a result of it.

Cavy believe I missed Mose play well! Are we talking on par with his other games he was "our best forward" or we talking played very well?
Thompson is all heart. Runs like a train. He always does his defence but IMO he's lacking some size at the moment to make the hard drives. I feel how he grows will determine of he is a avg super league player or he goes on to better things.

He made close to ten yards on every single carry he made, including plenty coming out of his own 20 with 3/4 pressuring him.
I really don't understand what people want Mose to do? I think he'll need to kill somebody in a tackle before he gets any praise.

I find a few on here think he's played well if he does few decent runs and does 20 odd 2nd / 3rd man tackles. I've been ever disappointed with him if I'm honest. He doesn't run his weight. I question his heart and if he wants to be on the field at times.

I'd be surprised if he made less than 130m and he made a substantial amount of 'hard yards' as you've been asking him to do. If you've recorded the game it's well worth watching back.

I was more impressed with Thompson and Greenwood. Thompson hits hard and greenwood is very awkward to tackle and stop gaining meters by the looks of it.

Ran very strongly today and took a huge responsibility. A couple of times I noticed he took more than 1 carry per set.

Yeah I agree, Thompson was very good today. Strong carries in tight situations and hit very hard in defence, Greenwood has an eye for a gap and the strength and speed to exploit it. Looking forward to seeing how these two develop along with Savelio.

He made some good meters but i wouldn't call them barnstorming runs like he is capable of i don't think he made more than 12 runs if i am honest. Went of after the first 12 minutes and came back on in the 2nd half if i am correct. Used silverwood as a good blocker for the try tho.
Lets just say it wasn't a youtube highlight clip
