It depends how much he is on. Seems fairly low risk. If he's a dud then Dewsbury will have him

back or another championship club. If he kicks on then he will be upgraded.



He seems to have had a stuttering start but clearly a number of different people see something in him.

Unlikely to progress at the rate of Walmsley but that's ok.

Suprised Saints have signed him up, seen him quite a few times at Barrow, runs the ball in hard but has his quiet moments. Think he can kick goals as well. very much a "work in progress" player, maybe the club thinks they could have another "Walmsley" but I,m not too sure if he can progress into Superleague standard, perhaps we will know next season.

He'll be on buttons, but if he turns good we've got a diamond. If he doesnt make it, the lower league teams will have paid most of his wages up til then anyway

He'll be training at Saints, giving him access to a better and tougher training regime. When he goes back to Dewsbury to play he will show better application and fitness and should improve. At 24 he has a few years to show he is worth another contract.

If Haggerty can fit into a professional environment, its not so far fetched to presume he'd be an upgrade on Walker (whom I like).
