Clough is the guy we should be looking to keep here. Not too fussed about the others, all replaceable.

I think there is direct correlation between us not recruiting quality senior players on a 1 for 1 basis and us not winning a damn thing in recent years.

You mean one year? We still qualified for the Grand Final last year and have reached the Challenge Cup Semi Final two years on the bounce.



I've no great concerns replacing squad players and players who are replaceable with some of the younger players and a few external recruits, it's when we start releasing and selling the key players that I'll be overly concerned.



People go on about Warrington, but what kids have they got coming through? Their best players are in their 30's, they'll have to recruit a helluva lot of quality players in the next few years or start bringing the kids through fast. Our best players are Roby, Graham, Pryce and Eastmond, the majority in their early 20's. Get them signed up long term and we'll be fighting at the top for years to come.

Can't you just keep Ade Gardner, he's pretty Manly.

I'd be looking to keep Meli and Flannary. If not I hope we've got a top class winger and centre/second rower (depending on where Soliola will play) plus LMS for next season. If all rumours are to be believed though, we're gonna be short on numbers next season.

Just seen tony Williams on NRL fulltime on sky, he walked all over billy slater to score a try.

I've heard he's being released, but don't take that as gospel.

So do you lot reckon Flannery would be a good signing for us?



Personally, I don't think he's lived up to his billed reputation over here, but admittedly i've only seen him vs Bradford and on SKY.

Legohead will add experience and a cool head to your side.



He is a classy player. Would add a good couple of years to Bradford if he went.
