saintsfan if you turned upto the game you would of also seen meli striking out on numerous ocassions nothing got done so stop commenting on something you aint seen and cant be sure what happened, and i also see on the fc board your having a go at us for cheering an injured player i think you will findwe cheered the big hit and when roby went off the pitch we all stood and clapped the player but then you wasnt there so you wouldnt know that would you

Roby never has a 'poor tackle technique', he is one of the best tacklers i have seen.

Actually, thats where you are wrong, the cheer that went up when Roby stayed on the floor, was disgraceful.

Thats something else that crossed my mind, i think he has the best tackle technique in the league, maybe the world. His tackling technique is fantastic.

Like i say, i couldnt see as i was behind the play so to speak, but the people to the right of us were going crazy that O'Meley had led with the elbow.

Maybe so, as i've said, i wasn't there but i'd like to see the incident because it is very, very rare that Roby goes into a tackle and doesn't get it spot on. The chance of him mistiming a tackle are very slim due to the fantastic technique he has, but as you say, he's human so he could have made a mistake.

In fairness when the hit went in and he stayed down there was a cheer as happens, as was the case when Clint Newton was staggering about against you the other week, but dont lets pretend he wasnt applauded of the pitch.



he is a fantastic player Roby but was levelled by a massive (legal) charge by a prop. It happens and i hope he is ok because he is a top, top player.

Only saw it the once at the game obviously but it never even occurred to me that it might have been illegal in any way so would be surprised if it was. Hope Roby is ok.

Too be fair I did cringe when everyone started cheering, but it was noway in a malicous way. once the crowd realised he was staying down it soon stopped. I don't think you can blame hull fans for cheering a big hit. It is a big part of the game and the vast majority of collisions involve 1 player trying to hurt (legally) another player.



Roby got a strong round of applause when leaving the field which more than made up for the initial reaction
