The Wigan website says an initial allocation so maybe more tickets may become available.
I wonder if Saints have not had the certification to allow full capacity yet and are holding tickets back until they do.

Why are all these Wigan supporters not panic buying and complaining about their allocation of 2000 tickets for their trip to Widnes?

Because if we sell all those there will still be tickets available in the North,South and East stands.
Back on topic. I would have thought that the fairest way to handle it would have been to give Wigan the full East Stand allocation, but with the proviso that any unsold tickets be returned to Saints one week prior to the game. |

Why should we give Wigan the whole East Stand when there are Saints fans who will potentially be left without a ticket if we do that? The best idea would be to sell them at Saints until two weeks before the game and then give Wigan some tickets if there are any left. |

When people start talking about fairness, they are talking from a certain point of view. For me the fairest thing is the freemarket. Stick them on the website and let whoever wants to come buy them.
Giving a special allocation so early is not the norm, it's the exception to the norm. Most teams that come to Langtree Park will get their allocation after the games have been on the Saints Website for a few weeks.
Giving tickets to Wigan 6 weeks in advance is very unusaul. How early did Wigan get their tickets last year??? |

It's our ground. We decide on your allocation. Nothing to do with fairness. You get what you are given. End of. Whinge all you want but that is the way it is! |
