I can't Brown needs his head testing?



Dawson or Ade Gardner (due back next year) last night would not have scored Swifts try last night in the corner? Yes Adams defence lets him down at times but offers far more in attack and work rate.

I was more worried about Josh Jones defence last night he makes me nervous, his indecision to committ to tackle is effecting Swifts read to defend.

yeah, id much rather have Swifts attacking threat and possible defensive frailties over Dawson who has zero attacking threat and isnt exactly Kevin Iro in defence either

Getting rid of Swift would be a pretty stupid thing to do.



I do know he was ed off about being pushed out by Dawson then Dawson getting young player of the year. So maybe there has been a falling out and that's why he's being asked to leave.



Nevertheless if it's true then that would be stupid work on Saints' behalf and poor man management.

I really hope this isn't true. There's uncertainties about Brown not even being at Saints next season so who would have made this call?



There's something not right though. We're developing a reputation for letting promising young lads leave.

Didn't McManus mention who was coming in and who was going out in the match programme because nothing was said about Swift. Just get the feeling Brown has a few favourites in the team, all Swift can do is keep performing making it more difficult to be dropped, if the player goes into a sulk he will grow out of it.

Also with the potential team for next season can't see any player wanting to leave.

Swift's got his flaws and is in his first full season. Not making the starting 13 every week shouldn't get his titty lip out.

Brown's stuck him back in for a playoff game without hesitation. He also shipped out Gardner on loan.

Even if he preferred dawson at this point, you still need back up - its not like Swift will be a big earner, so why would a youngster with plenty of talent be told to find a new club!?
