| If you are interested, I have put a questionnaire on the Wire forum as to why we are getting low attendances.

| Interesting point about about including in the season ticket price but what if your team doesnt reach the play offs ? Why in Aus are the crowds so good in the play offs ? It is a problem for our game when at the sharp end of the season the grounds look empty

| Thinks it's because season ticket holders get used to not paying each match, having to find the full entrance costs especially when the game is on TV comes as a bit of a shock.
Should season tickets be changed. ie by a ticket for £50. This allows you entry for games for £10. Probably costs the same each year but you becomes accustomed to paying to watch the game. When The challenge cup or playoffs come around(yes I can remember that far back) you don't feel the full entry cost as much and maybe more would attend the games.

| Because it has become a Mickey Mouse Cup! second bites of the cherry if you lose? pick who you want to play? it should become the Sky Sports Cup and The Premiership is awarded to the team who play consistently All Season and top Super League.

| All non-season ticket holder games are poorly attended. Challenge Cup semi finals are poorly attended.
Have a look around you the next time you go to a Super League game. Most of the people around you won't have eaten for a week, they'll have holes in their shoes.

The way people go on about how poverty stricken they are that they can't afford a ticket, you could be right.

| I liked the old premiership, it was a nice a winding down of the season - an extra cup for those who badly need one. But it's no way to crown a team 'champions of the season'. In Australia, they have their own culture, as Wittgenstein would put "a form of [sporting life" different to ours.
The play-offs in the Super League as of the moment, resemble more a WWE WrestleMania event than the workings of a dignified sporting organisation with 117 years of history. I will personally never accept the play-offs as being legitimate.

That annoyed me about the claims of poverty in the North West by Save The Children a few weeks back, very few people today know what poverty is, I bet many families will have Sky TV for their kids, computer games & parents drink and smoke while still claiming to be poor.

I'm not so sure. There was a show on about Sunderland the other week where it showed families living in truely horrible conditions. There was one family who had a meal (Some food, not a real meal) once every three days on average. They didn't mention how they got into that mess, but it was something about losing their job then house but not qualifying for benefits because they weren't out of work long enough yet.

If you're in that situation, season tickets and play-off games are the very least of your worries.
