Just received a letter outlining the details of a new pledge scheme for 2012. Apparently there will be an announcement at half time of the next home game.



It says that they need to get more than the 11000+ members they got this year. I think they might struggle with that. The fans did their job but I'm afraid the team failed to take advantage of the good off field work. I persuaded 5 people to buy a season ticket but I don't think they'll be renewing next year. They haven't been impressed with what's been dished up this year.



Other than a really big name signing (which doesn't look like happening) I don't know what they'll be able to do to bring in more supporters.

The continuing - and worsening - totally unacceptable performances on the park must make this one hell of a big ask.

It amounts to 'please sign up, and see if you can get a friend to sign up too'



The timing, coming on the morning after we were gubbed by 60 points, doesn't exactly fill me with passion and energy to go out and recruit for the scheme

How about a money back guarantee if you are not totally satisfied?!!!!

Must admit I thought Mr Bennett might have made passing reference to the very disappointing outcome this season, following the wave of enthusiasm at and after the original pledge. Perhaps the Board are satisfied with what has been dished up.

Or maybe the letter was written after the Hudds game?

If it was financially viable last year then why would we need even more pledges this time around?

I seriously can't see them even coming close to matching this season's total, never mind exceeding it.

No chance in hell of getting anywhere near that number of 11k.



Be very surprised to see us break the 8k figure in all honesty.

If ALL of us work together we CAN make it happen.

I persuaded my parents to buy one each but they could not be persuaded to do so again at any price. On top of the woeful losses, they also attended frankly crap wins as well. As an example, the Harlequins game was right up there with the most boring I've ever been to.

It's a tough ask to get 11k signed up, but for the money it's still a no brainer if it remains as low as it is. Even if it went up to £100 I'd still buy one given that I go to the home games anyway.



One things for sure, if we don't get the income you can forget about ever having a decent team to support.

And unless anyone has a sugar daddy waiting in the wings, there is only one place that most of the required income is going to come from.
