Any news on who it is yet? I know it was mentioned in the T&A that the new 19's coach would also have an input with the first team.



I noticed a thread on the Rhinos board linking Keith Senior with a coaching job at the Bulls. I've no idea how true that is, but I believe that the lads are back in in the next week or two for testing.

I think the U19s coach will act as an assistant coach to the first team.

It won't be something he's not done before, so why not? I did think the two posts, of academy and first team assistant, were to be two people though - maybe someone else is in the pipeline or maybe there is no-one Franny thinks is the right man for the job. Of course, it could be the whole thing is tied in with the ruling we're expecting from the RFL or does that only apply to players?

Well, according to my informant, even the guy who it is, doesn't know it's him yet..

Not sure there's any ruling, but there seems to be some belief in the idea..

Don't worry in some circles he is regarded 10/10 for off-field reputation.



Anyway, it would be fitting for Cummins to create an opportunity for Senior given how many tries Senior provided Cummins as his wingman. Good to see the ex-Leeds mafia in charge at Bradford, and vice versa at Leeds.

He lived off the back of Senior as a player, perhaps that's his idea as a coach as well.
