| Where's the "Don't Know" option? Any poll worth its salt requires an option for the "Don't Knows".

According to the Gengis Khan book of polling there are only 2 possible answers - 'for' and 'not for'. Enthusiasm for the latter tended to wane
Ok, so some dude may have said something similar in the bible but

| H was fairly average in the game against Wales. Has he been picked because of his new employer? I suppose there is at least the possibility of using Eastman as cover though and, maybe, Smith is saving Tomkins for the Aussies?

| The ginger Briscoe twin at FB is weak, his brother on the wing is a surprise, I would have gone with Neil Fox of HKR. Smith of Leeds Carnegie is maybe the best of a bad bunch (I would have preferred Leon Price). Maguire picks himself, Miller at SH is in as part of the deal that took him to Wire, Tom Kings from the squad but I would have put Burrows with his HB partner. Forwards almost pick themselves.

| Myler starting sends the wrong message imo. He was poor against Wales, whereas Tomkins was very good. That performance should have put Tomkins in the reckoning. As it stands, he's sent out a clear "I don't care how you play, i'm picking my new boy" message.

| At least the game will be more interesting to watch. I would expect France to give that squad a good game and an England win is by no means guaranteed.

I wouldnt be so confident. What i don't understand is if he is 'building for the future' why the hell has he picked someone who has decided to go and play union, he shouldnt be picked coz he is not guna be playing the sport for at least the next few years.

| Don't forget this is France we are playing. We should win regardless of who is playing at 7.
I think it's a good idea to play Myler on Friday for a number of reasons. Firstly it's another game for him to eliminate any rustiness he may be feeling as a result of not playing many matches recently. Secondly, the less the Aussies and Kiwis know about Tomkins' style of play the better. I'd much rather him pick Tomkins next week and see him be more of an unknown player.
