With losing Addy & Whitehead & Maybe Langley off to Cas we were always going to need a couple of back rowers. This will be a cheapish option i would have thought.

No idea whether Dale Ferguson will or will not be a Bulls player next season but just for the record he has played 16 times so far in the Huddersfield team this season either in the starting line up or off the bench and I've just had a look at his stats so far on the Super League site. Not bad really and shows up well compared to Jason Chan and Ukuma Ta'ia in terms of yardage per carry and also tackles.

In our present circumstances and given the need to build on what we have, I would have thought a decent signing.

Ferguson would be a very good signing. A better defender than Whitehead or Addy and a considerably better player all round than Sibbitt. Alongside Carvell this is decent recruitment.



The problem FC has got is that the pack was so light to begin with and losing Whitehead, Addy, Stranger we need to sign a minimum of 5 forwards not including Ben Evans which won't be easy.

Ferguson's stats in match against us in Manchester included 40 tackles (top Giants tackler) 8.5 average metres per carry and two tries.

Assuming ferguson is a done deal and donaldson being retained , which both seem likely, and were unlikely to get a third hooker (convoy added to 1st team squad so he'd be emergency backup.) then I think we need as a minimum 2 props and 1 more 2nd row. On top of those position we need a replacement for lulia and at least one utility back assuming no more departures.
