I've been thinking about the 2002 grand final and I have a lingering suspicion that Chris Joynt was guilty of a Voluntary tackle.

Interesting that the article opens with "This magnificent match was marred by a sustained display of petulance by Bradford's veteran hooker James Lowes, who was still abusing the officials five minutes after the final hooter" which doesn't sound like the mellow James Lowes I know and love.
I know that I'm probably asking this too soon, whilst emotions are raw, but does anyone else think we should have had a penalty? |

I have just re-read that article, we really were shafted by the ref. How was it not a penalty?
