| was privileged to see the team in the coral after the game thanks to an unnamed official.
The players were very humble about the victory. Langers got a lot of slaps on the back but was very very level headed about it.
Steve Mc Had a grin so wide it could have housed the WCC. I have never seen him so happy either as a player or a coach.
Peter Hood was a very very happy man also.
I was upset to hear that Mr Hood got some unwarrented attention from critics at half time. The specifc circumstances would have made a lesser man react with some force. He was the man smiling at the end of the game and the critics suddenly left.
If you are one of those kind of so called supporters who call the result with 40 minutes left to play then I will say it if others are too polite
**** OFF AND FIND ANOTHER CLUB!!
Hood is a club man and anyone who has met him knows that. If you want to dispute that then at least have the decency to give him the chance to live up to his ambition of getting the club into a place where we can seriously challenge!

| 3pts - Langley
2pts - Orford
1pt - Godwin (it was between him and Whitehead but Wagga's willy shake won it)
Mentions to all Kearney, Crookes, Lynch, Scruton, Nero, Menzies & Hall who could have all been in there.
Donno back in next week for me though.

| Orford & Langley seem to be automatic picks for this every week. If we have a good season, both of them have got to be contendors for Man Of Steel. Langley was immense again last night with Ox once again guiding the play.
I kind of wanted to give the 3rd choice to Hall just for his try and big hit, but it would be unfair to pick him solely on that, so I'll go with Wagga, although Beaver pushed it very close.
Langley
Orford
Godwin

| Langers for mine.
Stood up to be counted in the second half and really gave us forward momentum.

wagga
Thought wagga would of got starting spot for this season, but hes alwasy been an interchange hooker and hasnt let his head drop, you hardly notice the difference when him and heath swap over as they compliment each other that much..a vast improvement on the two hookers styles last season..wagga has always given his all for whatever club hes been at but looks as though he has improved ten fold this year..hope he can keep it up proving that stamina is better than size.

I thought Godwin's spell in the second half was key for us. He made a huge effort to get out of dummy half and our play there was much smarter, we went from being totally predictable to pulling the Wigan ruck defence around. We got some momentum and then by the end looked by far the more threatening team.

| 1 Langley- by a mile.
2 Orford-
3 L'Estrange/ Wagga/ Kearney
NB. Just a thought i had, if we has not let deacon go & therefore not signed Ox & signed walker instead, i dont think we could have won that game last night.

| Langley - (the best curly haired number 13 in the Super leauge. Shirley O'temple?)
Orford
Worrincey (almost put Godwin in there simply for showing the Wiggin forwards what a pair looks like but I'm putting the Worrlord in until he has a decent game)
