Baldwinson is definitely playing on Saturday (he confirmed on twitter) so I guess that means Mellor misses out. I'm in two minds who should play out of George/Henry/Arundel, I don't think there's much between any of them really.

I'm not sure I'd play young Conroy against a very physical Catalan side, I'd go with another back rower and let Addy go to dummy half when O'Brien is off the field.

If we go that route then it pretty much means Gaskell has to play in halves and kear at FB. You don't want three players switching position mid match to accommodate one substitution. Think I tend to agree with you though. Think gaskells more effective at FB than SO but o'brien and conroy seem to have pretty similar styles and at putting addy in mix would shake things up a little and give Catalans something else to think about..

Did you watch Gaskell at FB last week? He was awful! Dropped two high kicks and Broughton ran round him like he wasn't there. Addy doesn't work at hooker. Never has, never will. Give Conroy a go! Can he be any worse than what we have seen from others this year? I bet Conroy won't miss as many tackles as Addy will in the game.

Pack issues aside, I'd love to see Gaskell and Pryce up against each other at stand off. Lee reminds me of Leon in his style so I hope the Bull can step up.



Also, if (when) we get relegated, I can see Leon Pryce joining us for a stint in the ChampionSuperLeagueship 2 thing.
