And this from a club proclaiming in today's League Express that they are building for Super League!

I think it's more of them believing they should have first pick. No doubt Leeds will have plenty of bodies to send regardless but whether they are the same quality will probably cause the problem.

Strange thing to do for my way of thinking. They are Leeds's players and so can do with what they like, if Fev make the relationship fractious then surely it's them that lose out?



From WUP to 'building for SL' in less that 8 months? Where're all the cloth cutters, amateur accountants, and big club nay-sayers that would have invaded us like a pack of rapid rats if we'd have said something of that ilk?

We're just building. That's all. No specific target!

I've always assumed Leeds' relationship with Fev (and Hunslet before them) was much more of a case of Leeds telling them who to play this week, rather than Fev having their "pick" of available Leeds players. That's the impression I get of most Dual Reg deals to be honest, but more so where Leeds are involved.

No point in worrying about other clubs. Let them worry about us. Enough of them are insecure enough to do it without us going the same way.



Fev seem to be doing very well as it is without Lilley. I suspect if his stint finishes with us he'll be bench warming at Leeds again.



I had a look at my League Express and can't see much about Fev apart from Sharpe saying they're "looking at the big picture" with regard to Dual Reg which doesn't really say much.

Hunslet are propped up financially by Leeds so I can see that being the case. Less so with Fev.

Yeah, I agree with that; Leeds will do what is best for them and so they should, that's what any club, or head coach, would do.



McDermott wants Lilley, and all the other loanees/DRs to be in contention for a shirt at Leeds and will, rightly, do what he thinks is the best to achieve that. If he thinks we're taking better care of them or giving them better opportunities or coaching then they'll stay with us longer - if not, they won't.

Why don't they ask the players? Lilley especially looks to have really enjoyed his time here
