Exactly my thinking. Fully expect caisley to make a bid but I suspect unnaposed he would have waited right until the deadline to get best possible deal. With someone else in the mix we should hear something sooner.

If Caisley does not ride into Odsal on his white horse to save the club then i will eat my hat, I would agree that his preffered option would be for no other interested parties forthcoming with the money before getting a great deal at the final hour

Depends what he, or any other purchaser considers a "great deal"

Buying into a business that is loosing £100.000 (AT LEAST) per month is not to my mind a great deal.

The cost of running a dilapidated stadium will increase together with the rent cost to the RFL.
