Nope the club merged with Sheffield then de-merged with Sheffield, ifs and buts dont come into it.
Huddersfield as a Rugby League team been going since 1895 but as and where this fits into a "Bradford Strongest Pack in the League" thread is beyond me?
Whatever ya wanna think in that argument is fine by me and I won't be drawn on that old chestnut to try throw a veil over this thread.
So debaser what are your thoughts again on this seasons performance and your pack been the strongest in the league? |

This season has been disappointing and our pack clearly is not the strongest in the league, but it can still match any on its day if fully fit and on form inlcuding yours, who I would suggest are playing at a level above the sum of their parts, which is a great credit to your coach IMO.
However the subjective comment that this bizarre thread is based on was made in December 2008, when it was a fair call IMHO. |

I think you'd be surprised how many would be interested. Whether you like it or not, we are still one of the bigger clubs in the league, and we have the full cap for a coach to spend, the problem is those that are available may be just as clueless as macca. |

Fair comment and I would not argue against this, however I would and still will argue with those that still insist you have the best pack in the league, cos as some are now coming to terms with, you don't currently have the best pack in SL. |

Burgess Vs Leuluai - Burgess by 10 mile
Newton Vs Buderus - nothing in it really, Newton is as good as anybody, Buderus might not even be fit
Lynch Vs Peacock - Peacock just
Menzies Vs Buchanan - Menzies by 10 mile
Morrison Vs Lauitiiti - Morrison by 10 mile
Langley Vs Sinfield - Sinfield by a bit
Its our 5/8 and 3/4 that worry me.
Burrow couldnt lace Deacons boots if he tried, he's got one game, thats run. Mcguire I like, I think its harsh to say he's just a support player, hes much more than that, Jeffries is a poor one in my mind.
Leeds have the edge in the back s though by a 10 mile.
