I was quite a regular on the Huddersfield board at the time Griffin moved and there were loads of fans on and from the Wakey Forum slagging "teapot" off. It all stemmed from something he said to a fan or did to a fan, but I forget the details of that.



I'm not saying it's done to every player, just seems like it's done more to people who leave Wakefield than any other club I've noticed.

Now I agree Wakey fans boo opposing teams & refs more than any other, but can't say I've noticed additional bitterness.

I'm in no way saying you don't have good reason for it. You may also have good reason for the previous players. I just find it a little odd that the majority of the time I see fans slating a player who's just left, it seems to be coming from Wakefield. The reasons for that? I couldn't tell you.

As was previously said, that is a little selective of you, do you not think!??



What about Domic, Elima, Pitts, Wilkes....all left in recent times, all have or will get a good reception on return.

With the exception of Scully which is well documented the only others that seem to get stick are Teapot thats Griffin to you who said basically the same when he went to Hudds and also threatened to kick the sh!!!t out of a young fan for having the temerity to criticise him, and Sollo from a few when he pledged himself to the club while at the same time doing a deal behind the clubs back with the Bulls. I'm sure you will agree that the criticism is deserved to some extent.

You can also add Grix,Atkins,Drew and Snitchy as well as others to that list.

Which former Bulls players have copped abuse from the fans after they've gone to other RL clubs?



I can think of Fielden and Newlove off the top of my head in the SL era. And of those I'd say Platt gets more abuse than Fielden and he still plays for us







Before him I can only really remember Ford and Hanley getting much abuse.

And all because I didn't rate Deacon.

I'm guessing you missed this when another of your fans basically made exactly the same point you just did....









Just an observation. It may not be completely accurate, but I've certainly noticed it a lot more from your fans in recent times than any other.













Peacock got a bit, but that's purely because he ended up at Leeds. I always thought the Peacock stuff was a bit harsh.





The only player we've lost in the last 15 years that I thought (and still think) really did deserve it was Newlove.

I'm fairly sure Nathan Graham used to come in for a bit of grief from fans.
