| Has ybody thought that Langley may have been instructed to run the ball in and not to offload. I know it may sound silly, but we never know, I think he gets too mmuch criticism on here. Personally, whilst I like seeing Burgess in SR and at loose I am yet to be convinced that Prop isn't his best position. I would be looking at Burgess at Prop and Hall in SR next year as that's where he's had his best games for Manly.

| Why would Brough want to go to Bradford, it would be like taking a step in the wrong direction for him.

Well, granted Wakefield will finish higher in the table this year (although, frankly, I don't expect them to last beyond the first week of the playoffs)
But in every respect the Bulls are a bigger club, with more potential than Wakefield. You might not like that, but it is true. OK, the Bulls are in a rebuilding phase right now, but looking ahead a year or two there is actually a much greater chance that the Bulls are likely to be challenging for trophies, playing in front of much bigger crowds and generally being on a bigger stage.
Quite simply, Wakefield are a small town club who are punching above their weight right now - and well done to them, to be fair - whilst Bradford Bulls are a big city club who are currently undergoing a big dip in form.
In the bigger scheme of things, moving from Wakefield to Bradford, and being part of the renaissance of one of the game's giants should appeal to someone with a bit of ambition

There is massive potential for Wakefield, sadly it hasn't been realised in the Super League era. Their plans for a new ground are pretty well advanced and that will be the acid test of their ambition, whether people actually turn out for their club.
One of the main problems is the lack of spirit in the city, a situation not unlike Bradford IMO. It has a poor opinion of itself, there is a lot of immigration and a lot more people residing there 'cos the housing is cheaper but working and living their lives in Leeds.
I'd still agree we are the better prospect at the moment but we simply have to realise the OSD and improve significantly on the field.

| Just a quick question. Is it not more likely we will sign Brad Drew, rather than Brough?

| Quote Daz_4="Daz_4"Just a quick question. With all the speculation we are going to sign Brough. Is it not more of a greater chance we will end up with Brad Drew? Since he hasn't been making the impact like Brough has at Wakefield. Im sure they would rather sell Drew than Brough?
And although Drew is a great player, he is getting on and it wouldn't suprise me if Macca would settle for Drew.
Any thoughts?'"
Drew is Cas bound. He plays best at Hooker aswell, we need a quality half.

Well with Drew leaving, would you think Wakefield would sell another half? I think Brough's there to stay.

With the cash from the Burgess deal to NRL we'll be able to prize him from Wakefield.
They need the cash and everyone has their price.

| Brad Drew is good when he plays but I think he is off to Cas or retiring.
