Our dodgy finances aside, Adam Sidlow was not likely to be retained at beyond this coming season anyway, so a 2 year deal at another club would be better security for him. Message coming out of Salford is that is was Vievers decision to let him go, and not financially motivated. He has all the physical attributes to be an excellent prop, but rarely runs his weight, and often lacks agression. Who knows, he may find these things at Bradford! Good luck to him and the Bulls!

Isn't it more that Bradford approached Salford about an under contract player and Salford agreed to release him as he didn't fit into their plans. The player then signed a deal with Bradford leaving everyone involved with the result they wanted.

If we'd approached Sidlow directly, while making no representation to Salford, who'd then found a legal loop hole to get out of his contract, maybe there would be grounds to compare the 2 deals.
