| West Ham lose there bid to move into the ground, and changes to renting only..
What are the chances for London RL of Quins (as they are still named) moving into there after the Olympics? Would be brilliant to share with one of the football teams IMO

| They could open the first two rows only to keep the atmosphere crackling initially, but I'm with you in spirit.

| As I understand it West Ham are still likley to be the anchor tenant, so if they cover the majority rental/annual running cost, which they probably will, having a second field sport team play there, RL or RU, would be good business and means that the management company could charge a more reasonable rent for a second lower-income generating tenant.

| Speaking as a Hammers and London RL fan there's almost no chance whatsoever that West Ham will fill this stadium on a regular basis (average gates are about the 30k mark at present, even allowing for a return to the Premier League it'll be 40k at best) so what hope a London RL team? I had hoped one of the smaller Olympic venues (eg hockey stadium) could be a viable bet for a 15k capacity stadium if London RL wants to find a home of its own. Could be an alternative venue for internationals (World Cup in 2013) or if the powers that be wanted to move the Magic Weekend to London?

The capacity is going to be reduced isn't it?

Thought so. I know it was meant to be reduced to 25k at one point.

That is the obvious and most sensible option, but sense goes out the window when it comes to football finances so it won't happen.
