As a Leeds Rhinos fan hailing from the Essex/Cambridgeshire border area, I feel I am one of the only fans of the greatest game in this dreary part of the country. If there are any other southern fans who are on this forum, please post on this thread. It would be greatly appreciated and very interesting.

Hey there, North Hertfordshire based here, I think there's a guy in the next town to me who is also a Hull fan but haven't spoken to him for a couple of years. There's not many teams your way, prolly St.Albans (my old team) might be your nearest or even St. Ives roosters who combine with Beford. There was a team in Cambridge itself but not sure if it is still going.

Essex / Cambridge? Try living in the Suffolk waste lands for Rugby League drought. Fortunately the RAF Regiment play and hold matches at their base in Honington near Bury St Edmunds. Also, there is always the the RL Conference.

If there was enough people Im sure I could persuade a decent bar to play the RL every week.
