Jealousy is a terrible thing. He aspires to reach the heights that Clare is already at. As mentioned earlier he is a helmet.

I think the sainsburys thing was supposed to be a little witty joke by Kelner, but since it sounds sod all like Clare Balding and is a really really sh|t joke, I'm not entirely sure.

The Guardian is just a negative rag for left leaning imbeciles. Rather like the Daily Mail and Express are depressing rags, albeit in their cases aimed at the intellectually challenged women of middle England.
