Excellent decisions by ALL the match officials without resorting to the video ref!! So easy isn't it!!



BUT!!!!!!!



Yet another game played with "different rules".No 40 -20!!!!!



When will the game be played consistantly with rules that are the same worldwide?



I can't think of any other sports that do this to the level of RL

North West Counties and the majority of the amateur game don't apply the 40/20 rule. The fact there were touch judges yesterday would have been to make the game look better on television (the SRL don't miss a trick) but you can't apply the 40/20 rule on TV when usually there is only one referee at a Super Eight game.



And before you start banging on about different rule changes between televised and non televised Super League games, find me a passage in the rule book that mentions the video referee and if so tell me in what context.

One of the lads playing for Loughborough tomorrow, Ben Vivian was in my year at school, spent some time with Doncaster & Sheffield Eagles too.

Looking forward to tonight's game, the standard of both the game and presentation last week was very good. If the league table is anything to go by it should be an easy win for Loughborough.

Northumbria University vs University of Central Lancashire

FWIW Northumbria won their Challenge Cup tie against UCLAN 20-12 last month.

They also beat Lougborough in the Challenge Cup on Saturday.

Its the final tonight Leeds Met v Loughborough, should be a good game
