Quote Old_Faithful_IAKW="Old_Faithful_IAKW"Richard Agar - 2012 (so far): 5th with a game in hand.
Pick out the Agar years, no PO games won and no CC games won against a SL opponent in 2009-11.'"
How very selective. But forget all about 2008 when Agar took Hull to Wembley with a gutsy away win at Bradford and a semi-final defeat of a decent Wakefield side coached by Saint John Kear ?
Gary Grienke never coached in Super League - he left London in Jan 1996 and SL kicked off in March '96.
It was Tony Anderson who coached Halifax in 2003. But I'd nominate his namesake.
Who can forget the genial Steve Anderson at Warrington ? Paul Darbyshire (in his solitary game in charge) coached the Wolves to an 18-14 home win over emerging champs Bradford at Wilderspool in the August, Anderson then took over and presided over the 12-84 home defeat to the same Bulls side a month later !
