It's unbelievable that referees are still making mistakes in this modern day game. The players have stopped knocking on and throwing passes forward. It's about time the referees looked towards the mistake-free players to learn how to reach perfection.

If Leeds had enough about them they would have won the game regardless of the decisions that supposedly went against them. We know they've got character, but they were up against a far better team today.

The Briers one was nowhere near as bad as people are making out, it bounced forward but if it went forwards off Briers it was only just.

It just balanced off the forward pass in the previous set that Leeds got away with

I can't remember it but I don't find the forward pass surprising





After a good game, with a big crowd, with good coverage from the broadcaster rugby fans need to find something to moan about, so a correct knock on decision and an iffy knock on are the best that people can come up with.



All in all I'd say today's been a success.

You super league fans will always find something to moan about. Leuleui knocked on after the hit so that was the correct call and the briers 'knock on' actually landed behind him if you watch the replays but if being a ref is so easy why dont you have a go yourself. It was a good game in the end with both teams giving their all so shut up and enjoy it or go watch soccer players roll around on the floor !!

Thats the way I saw it, unintentional knock on from KL then Delaney picks up the ball from an offside postion. First knock on from Hodgson head and feed to Leeds. Thought the VR got the call right on that one.

And the Briers 'knock on' was marginal if it went forward at all. If it hadn't bounced forward after it hit the ground there wouldn't be such a furore IMO.

The Briers 'knock-on' wasn't a knock-on at all. The first bounce landed behind the point at which he touched it. Doesn't matter where it bounces after that. The BBC even demonstrated it in slow-mo with lines on the pitch after the game.



The no try was the correct decision for me as well. Knock-on from KL.



Thought the officials were good today.

Totally agree with the KL incident, but the Briers knock on would have been given at every SL game and was a glaring error by all the officials involved.

That said, Leeds were playing a very conservative game for 70 minutes and the old saying about making your own luck seems to be quite apt on this one.
