Friday is my worst night to travel to games due to the M6 or M1 from Coventry being so slow and it takes about 3 hours to travel the 100 miles to home games at Wigan and even longer to get to Hull.



But the atmosphere on these nights is better than any other, Thursdays are bad due to getting home after midnight and then having a 6.00am start at work on the friday

Sunday afternoons with the odd tv match on a Friday night thrown in

As a shift worker any day can clash with my shifts so it makes little diference to me. What makes it bad is SKY shifting the game at short notice later in the season when I have changed shifts or taken holidays to attend. My favorite day is Sunday afternoon (just got used to it since we stopped playing Saturdays) although Friday nights are great under lights. Two years time I will be retired then I won't miss any games.

Saturday 6pm.

My little boy tends to nap between 11:00-13:00 most days, and on a Sunday the wife meets her friends for a coffee at 14:00, i work until 13:00 some Saturdays so for me the ideal day and time is 17:35 on a Saturday.



If the club dont play at that time it's an absolute joke and I wont ever buy a season ticket again.

I agree with this sentiment.....but the question was what is your ideal day....for me, Saturday either 3pm or early evening KO.

My ideal day would be a Sunday afternoon but enjoy the atmosphere on a Friday night game. Just means I have to head straight home due to working Saturday morning.

For sky games Friday nights with either Saturday 5:30ko or Sunday 6pm

Sunday for me, Thursday a complete no, Friday now more difficult due to work and the M6 I don't want to have to book time off just to go to a match. In fact have not renewed 3 season tickets because of the Thursday / Friday issue so will pick and choose this year. wish more of the Lancashire clubs would move there home day to Sunday's but maybe locals seem happy with the Friday arrangement,
