Noble should concentrate on commentating IMO. His knowledge, and enthusiasm is excellent, and he even makes Davies a little bit more positive about the game too.

I'm surprised anyone watched for longer than ten minutes after the way Jiffy grumbled on at the start of the game. I watched a documentary about him and he is like a different man when covering the other code. Shame as he still has a brilliant technical understanding of the game.

I'm sure the Dr is reeling from the payout. He may have to wait five minutes to earn it back...

Yep, all are knowledgeable, and enthusiastic about the game without being overbearing. You can tell Dave Woods is a pie eater though, he can try and disguise that ridiculous accent all he wants but, he can't seem to go a few minutes without mentioning them.

Noble is on a fixed contract and so it isn't a question of dismissal. He has to do the job, for the time stipulated, and Salford have to pay. If they relieve him of his duties then it makes no difference to the fact that under his contract he is due his money just the same. Dismissal claims are not relevant.



Whether he can be shunted into a different role depends entirely upon whether that is provided for in his contract, if it is, he can be, and if it isn't, then he can't.
