Every ref gives one eyed refereeing performances for Huddersfield do they? That 7-3 HT penalty count was a joke.

Gronk - are you saying the Ref shouldn't have penalised Catalans just to keep the penalty count down ??....as far as i can see, and with ours too, they were all justified !

He was penalising Catalan for things he let Huddersfield get away with (like the dummy half pushing defenders out of the way).



No point being reasonable here though because you'll never think anything other than that farce was fairly officiated.

But doesn't every set of fans complain that happens to them ? Most games you watch a Ref will penalise one team more than an another for the same things. Doesn't make us thugs or anything, we've suffered plenty at the hands of Ref's ourselves. Blame the Ref not our team !

Yes you are different to other teams. Your entire game plan is based around the ruck. It's to slow the opposition's and to get a quick play the ball yourself. That's why you have such a big and effective forward pack.

There's nothing wrong with that approach (personally I'd prefer a more open style but that's personal preference). But that slowing of the play the ball needs to be achieved by putting more men into the tackle rather than through holding down and interference.

At the moment Huddersfield are pushing the line too far with holding down and interference but not getting penalised for it.

Haven't actually watched the 1 st game , but in the Wire ,Saints game 24 th minute , Ashton Simms continues to hold onto Saints player after tackle completed and Saints player lashed out and connected with an open hand , essentially identical to what Hock did last week , should he have been yellow carded as all were suggesting last week ?



I await the outrage on here

Which is what happens in every game by every team and officials, not sure why you think we deserve criticism for something that is part of the game these days

Simple solution to all the slowing down and messing about



Once a player has been put to ground or the ref has called held , defending players should not be allowed to change their grip/hold on the tackled player , if they do , it's a penalty , this would sort out all the issues we are currently seeing including the leaning on and pushing players as they PTB

The only thing thaler got wrong imo was not allowing catalan to retake the conversion dureau missed. Clear as day hudds player were encroaching on the kicker
