Not taking anything away from Ellis, but...
Only one player per club was to be picked. Captiains and Vice Captains of NZ and Aus were picked automatically.
Therefore:
Marshall who would have been the tigers fan pick was an automatic inclusion
Farah who would have polled second didnt really have a chance as his position hooker was taken by australian vice captain Cameron smith
Ellis is your tigers Bradbury. But I am happy for him to make the squad, bringing more of international feel to the game. |
