Before Gutterfax gets in - you mean you have young ENGLISH players at HKA - do they understand the accents or do they speak Strine as well.

For Wigan-



Josh Charnley- The club were rumoured to be letting him leave on loan for the season to Quins but his pre season efforts changed thier minds and they let Pryce go instead. I expect him to get chances at Wigan this year and he looks one hell of a prospect going off his HKR form.



Steffan Marsh- The coaching staff at Wigan love him and he'll get plenty of opportunities. He's quick and has great footwork.



Liam Farrell- If he kicks on he's got a big chance of England selection at the end of the year. He was simply outstanding in 2010 and makes the game look so simple. He's the best young forward i've seen come through at Wigan in a long time.



Outside of Wigan i'm looking forward to seeing Milner at Cas. I keep reading alot of good things about him and hooker is an area we could do with producing some top quality players in.

Was very impressed with Liam Watts last season for Hull KR. As said, Warrington have the Evans' brothers, and a man that I think will really kick on this year; Mike Cooper.

Why do people include the likes of Cooper and Watts on these threads? Watts played all but one game last year, Cooper made his debut almost 5 years ago. These threads should be for actual rookies, not just a chance for people to list every English player under the age of 26 at their club.

Watts only turned 20 at the back end of last season. I would still class him as a young player.

Maybe so but I think the OP was searching for posts about young players who may come into SL this year, not ones who already have a lot of experience at this level.

As would I with Cooper.

Scott Taylor should make his breakthrough this year. Jordan Cox looks a very useful backrower. He's a big lad for his age too.

He's still young, but he's an established first team player now, everyone knows about him. Tom Briscoe is also 20, Eastmond is 21 etc. Yes they are young players in the sense that they are not veterans, but what does listing them achieve? Players like that don't belong in this sort of thread, it should be about youngsters who may be about to break into the first team rather than established stars.

Cooper is older than Sam Burgess. If anyone had listed Burgess on this thread they would be laughed at.
