Whilst you cannot deny there hasn't been a lot of investment at Headingley surely you're scraping the barrell a little there.

Just using a 20 year window which has framed the way the stadium looks today.

Take the 2/3 rd stand at the end out, and Headingley ' looks ' like it did 60 years ago

With a bit more imagination and better use of the budget given, The York Community Stadium team has released further imagery of how they'd like the Stadium to be.

Going to be 8,000 seater which is pushed for with the below design and unit spaces required:

Looks nice. Looks like the soccer lot are ensuring their colours in the seats are prominent. RL second fiddle as always.

I couldn't care less if they installed red and blue bean bags as long as bloody thing gets built on time.

York City's current average crowd is nearly 4,000, and in the Blue Square Premier was around 3,000. York City Knights average crowd is in the hundreds.

Of course they're second to the football team, but like Wheels says who cares as long as the thing gets built.

Can't understand all the negativity towards Headingley - I personnally love going to watch a game there. Don't take too much notice what colour the seats are or how it hasn't changed since the 60's. Its a great RL stadium.
