The point being it would be a sensible and positive move to relocate to the heart of the media industry (which also happens to be very handy for the RL M62 corridor) while the opportunity exists. It's not about Salford vs Manchester ffs.

I asked why you would want to relocate to somewhere where there is pretty much no RL presence whatsoever. It appears you mean moving to Salford Quays, which, as its name suggests, is in Salford. It's difficult to follow your argument if you misname things.

Again: it doesn't matter. You're not moving the RFL (or the media dept) there with the local community in mind - you're moving to be within touching distance of the mass media, hopefully take on a higher standard of media professional, develop more and stronger relationships and links with key media personnel, yet still also be within easy distance of the heartlands. Whether it's in somewhere officially called Manchester, Salford or Teletubbyland is completely irrelevant.



Oh, and until I replied to you I don't believe I mentioned Manchester once (or Salford, for that matter). I only talked about moving to Media City, so I'm not sure why you think I've 'misnamed' anything.

north side of canal is salford and hence, the stadium is in salford. south side of the canal is trafford. Funnily enough, just the same as it is at Mediacity
