| Quote saints35 bulls0="saints35 bulls0"at the RFL fans forum I was at last week, there was a definate theme of questions about moving the Grand Final to the Emirates Stadium....clearly someone at the RFL has thought about it seriously enough to brief the research agency to ask those questions.'"
Terrible idea. The only place I would consider moving it to is Cardiff.

Lot easier to shift 60k tickets for a game in London than it would be to shift 75k tickets for a game in Cardiff. Fans of one side have only a week to buy tickets and sort out transport and hotels - both a lot easier to do in London. You can take the east coast mainline from Yorkshire and get off at the station that serves Emirates.
Can't see the GF being moved out of the north any time soon. If Old Trafford isn't available, the RFL would have to approach the Liverpool/Gtr Manchester/Leeds/Sheffield football clubs and see what deal they could get.

It will stay at OT. If it were to move it would go to Eastlands, Wembley or Elland Road as an absolute last resort.

So are Leeds, Sheffield, Liverpool or Manchester Tourist Board going to offer £500k between them to host these games? I mean, I doubt it would boost their economy too much with most fans being able to get a bus to the ground and that!

| Also why does everyone keep going on about using Eastlands.
They are only allowed to use the ground for a certain amount of non Man City games. These are all taken up with concerts which make a few quid more than any RL game.

| Quote hfc herts="hfc herts" You certainly never see NFL kit. Yet they FILL Wembley and charge £60 + a ticket. How is that ???? '"
Because people come from far and wide for the game, not just the London area and tickets are balloted out through the internet. I think over 1 million people registered for a ticket for the game. I also noticed a lot of Europeans and Americans walking around the Stadium.
Also if you come around Leeds you will see me in my Bucs Jersey

| we havent even half sold any of the magic weekends, with several games on offer for a very cheap price.why does anybody think a league game, even between the best two supported clubs in sl,could sell out a major stadium.
the wigan/leeds game did well last season, but not anywhere near enough to warrant moving to a large stadium(even in the heartlands)
we dont even bother with a wembley international anymore,so what chance would a standard league game have.
