Sacking the coach live on TV. How utterly embarassing

Clearly the players had stopped executing what Radford wanted them to do.



However players tweeting stuff like that is pretty much normal practice when a coach in sport gets sacked.

Thought that he'd already sacked him before he was interviewed on TV.

As a Rovers fan I would be the last to back Hull on this but it’s pathetic for fans of other clubs to be calling it embarrassing, out of order etc.



I was listening to local radio and Pearson clearly stated that business around his and Radford’s parting was taken care of before anything was officially announced. He took care of the Sky cameras so as Radford didn’t have to face up to them. That’s it.

Exactly the amount of people that either can’t listen and comprehend what has been said or even read and understand what was said by Pearson is astounding. No one was sacked on tv live or otherwise.

Both Pearson & Radford has agreed to part ways and Pearson let Lee inform the players and said he would do the media for him and also inform of the decision.



Announcing it straight away saved Radford from the barrage of stuff that would have been on social media as is the norm these days. Delaying the announcement would have just lead to a lot of speculation and abuse. Pearson and Radford have the respect of each other and that showed.

I don't see how they could have done. Whether radford found out before the interview is irrelevant.



There was no good reason why Pearson couldn't have announced it Friday.



To me it looks like Pearson was trying to make it look like he was doing something about the clubs poor form and wanted maximum exposure doing so.



Even in football where sackings are far more prevelant you don't see events like this.
