Sure, that's the best i've got.
What would watching Webb play in SL have to do with what I said? I said he was an average ranked NRL fullback when he was here and would probably be that again if he came back. I think it's up to you to recall your NRL knowledge from a few years ago to dispute what i've said.
Webb only stood out playing for the Kiwis during his NRL days. He was always behind several NRL fullbacks at club level. |

Webb was never anymore than around the 4th or 5th rated fullback in the NRL and he has gone so far downhill that the Kiwis have no interest in him at Test level anymore.
Orford was the Dally M winner thats right but the Dally M's are not always an indicator of reality, Hayne was the player this year and could not get a game in his position of Fullback at Test level.
The fact that Manly dominated the 2008 season had plenty to do with Orfords selection, the fact that Manly did not try very hard to re sign him says everything and at nearly 32 when the season kicks off his best is behind him.
He can be a great player behind a dominant pack and skillfull backs, in an average team he will look very ordinary. |
