But did you like the 'air' punches from Kirmond on Kay in the tackle, or did you prefer the two head shots on Pownall by the Wakey winger & Ali Lauatiti followed up with a neck grapple by the ginger whinger Chris Riley ?
As a team Leigh lack size, but have a pack mentality & if they receive niggle they give it back but twice as hard, those lads would practically die for each other it seems.
Nothing wrong in that, they just do it better & tougher. |

Leigh only had to defend one set in the second half before scoring 2 tries. Two of those tackles were 3 man tackles. If that's throwing you off your game then there are serious problems |

He’s currently on a 2yr deal, yeah I know that don’t necessarily mean much, but Tom joined Leigh as a part time player, as for some reason he couldn’t combine his uni studies and Full time Pro rugby at Saints.
When Leigh went full time, they offered Tom a FT contract that allowed him to continue with his education, for which he’s just won an award for combining the two.
