Seems as above you are denying allegating that it is Warrington who do you believe is considering using your own words "there is no doubt"?

Salary cap is a load of tosh anyway. It didn't stop Wakefield or Crusaders from going bust and Quins without their chairman would have gone pop ages back. Any club that isn't financially viable should be got rid of. We would then end up with a smaller SL, with more competitive games and the cash pot from Sky would allow our top players to be better paid. Having said that, Senior does appear to have brought the game into disrepute and should be taken to task.

Wouldn't it be nice to live in a world where you could believe that people didn't do things simply on the basis that they told you they didn't?



Senior should be in a room right now with an RFL appointed independent investigating officer, expanding on his whistleblowing allegations of widespread cheating within the game; an HMRC official should be waiting outside for his turn, with maybe a couple of rozzers having a look at some potential fraud. In the meantime, Senior should be suspended from any RL activities, to protect him and the other parties involved.



What will really happen? The RFL will brush it under the carpet and Senior will retire in the off-season with his pension pot wedged up by book sales and payments from newspapers; meanwhile, the cheating of the salary cap by 4 or 5 wealthy clubs will continue unabated.

Chris Hicks had been signed for the following season, he suddenly "changed his mind", Monaghan filled that gap and, I would assume, took that salary quota, too.

There's nothing to stop you bringing it to the attention of the authorities if you feel that strongly about it.

I'd no doubt be banned for posting names, but I think we all know examples of clubs who have previously shown a willingness to cheat to gain an advantage.
