| Once again, going in the wrong direction.
The problem SL's forwards have been having this season are head high tackles with two of our best, Graham and Morley, suffering particularly badly.
Wigan's two worst game for this were v HullFC.
The game at the DW was a thug a thon with Manu leading the way followed by Yeaman. Three brawls, no action from Ganson for 70 mins then, rightly, sending off Joel Tomkins. The game at the KC, three Wigan forwards sent from the field due to blood pouring down their faces from head tackles. All three needing stitches.
The RFL/SL has just got it wrong. No one has been hurt with three or four man tackles. Numerous players have been hurt and damaged this year by head high tackles. Let's hope something is done for next season.

He won a title. in the biggest games in the playoffs he faced 2 teams without their key players (leeds - mcguire and peacock, saints - halfbacks).
He won the CC. Wigan raced into a lead in the first 15 minutes then clung on for dear life the other 60, getting every single 50/50 call form the ref in the process.
Most neutrals consider leeds unlucky not to have won and many believed they might have deserved to win.
Luck and circumstance, combined with spoiling tactics.
No ta.'"
you can only play whats in front of you. End the day he won two major trophies in two years and there not spoiling tactics its very clever tactics. it proves one thing know if they race into leads and hang on that they have a good defence.

| If theres one good thing m****re has done it's build wigan fans up and give them delusions of grandeur, only for them to be crashed back down and dissapointed.
Over the last 2 years the level of disrespect they have shown to saints and leeds acheivements is astounding. It's why the final this year is so fitting. You don't hear any pundits or officials bemoaning the loss of m****re do you? He can take his tactics and his receeding hairline and feck right off.
Wigan have used spoiling tactics to suffocate the opposition, before using systematic well drilled attacking lines and patterns to post points.
Rugby by it's very nature lends itself to flair and unpredictability in attack, something leeds and saints thrive off. Wigans patterns of attack are predictable and repetitive, but systematic in their nature hard to counteract. However it seems this year they have been worked out.
Good riddance to bad rubbish.

No, he did. He gave a drop out and was advised to go to the screen by whoever was talking in his ear. He whistled for the drop out, then you could see him obviously listening to his ear piece and then he went for the screen.

Must of been real lucky then to win @ warrington and beat St Helens on the way to wembley. While Leeds did play well and could of won it, to say Wigan were lucky is absurd considering who they beat and the way they won those games on the way to wembley.
