Sam Tomkins had an excellent game last night, in a resurgent New Zealand Warriors team, as they thrashed Canberra Raiders 54-12.



He was not the star of the match: that honour was shared between Konrad "Hurricane" Hurrell and Shaun "Magic" Johnson. However Sam scored a try and was instrumental in assisting two others.

Sam Tomkins maturity as a player is really rubbing off on the flamboyant warriors players. They are starting to play structured and its paying off. Those flick ons was immense and he did it earlier in another game. He did it on the right hand side and then the left quality.

Mind you the Raiders are languishing third from the bottom.

I would suggest bigger than anything SL has to offer at the moment.

That's not too far out tbh. Slater has been in better form and Barba isn't the threat he was. There's certainly a lot of depth there. The replacements at Wests and Manly have been pretty handy too.
