One of the major problems is the RFL. They are terrible at promoting our game and building excitement.

Just a little joke. In all seriousness that turnout deserved to be applauded. Had a club such as Wakefield, Huddersfield, or Salford won the Cup the best turnout would've been somewhere under 5,000. And that's being generous.

I'm glad Hull won and Dire lost but can't believe some have been calling it a 'classic'. It certainly wasn't that for me.

Imo if Wakefield had somehow won it, far more than 5000 would have turned out though. Simply because of how long it's been since we've won something, plus the turmoil we've been through. It would have been a huge deal for the City. People around the City would have loved to have been a part of it because it may not have happened again for many. There's a serious underbelly of can't be d Wakefield supporters that would of shown up (especially because it's free), in a similar way to how 23k went to watch Hull's celebrations but don't show up to watch Hull FC each week. Just look how many turned up to games when we were giving tickets away cheap a few years ago.

I have always said that it is daft that top teams only have to play 3 games to get to the final. I know with the current format the bottom four of super league enter a round earlier but it still isn't exactly many games to win such a prestigious prize.



BBC are contracted until 2020 at least and the final is listed by ofcom which means it has to be on free to air tv so you have a bit longer to wait for sky to get it completely.

Bur that does not stop the RFL trying to get a better offer from ITV, or Channel 4 or even Channel 5.



The way the BBC treat our game in comparison with Snooker and now Womens Football is a disgrace.



A example being last Saturday's Final when they could not even show Hull FC celebrating with their supporters on a lap of honour at the end of the coverage.

I don't actually mind the BBC coverage, makes for a refreshing change from the usual SKY goons and i generally think it is done well considering it is only on a few times a year. I also had a fair few people at work pull me and talk about the game. people who were not really RL fans, even RU fans, and all said how much they enjoyed it.

The BBC coverage is top stuff. It just needs less Jonathan Davies.

Yep, they should have cut him years ago from the RL coverage. Seems far more at home with the Union lot.
