Was looking forward to seeing him yesterday. It's hard to play behind a pack bring overrun so I never got to see much from him other than his strange posture and running style.
What stands out with him when playing in a beaten team is his poor fitness level.
At the game at Widnes last month it was noticeable that he was struggling with the pace of the game. The quality of our competition is obviously inferior to the NRL but the pace of the game is as quick, if not quicker. Maybe his running style makes it appear that he is struggling more than he actually is, but to me he looks dead on his feet.
If you want him long term, and Im not convinced he is worth keeping, we should spend 2/3 weeks getting him fit. If that means dropping him then so be it.
