Amazing athlete and seems a really down to earth guy, not what i expected tbh. Think the best we can hope for is that he fancies a year over here for the experience of playing/living in the uk.

He was absolutely outstanding last week for the Roosters v the Bunnies. A complete waste of talent if he goes back to RU.

RU has made SBW a better player. In RU as a 12, he's had his hands on the ball an awful lot passing bringing other players into the game, cos of this is handling is much better than it was before he left.

Nah ! It was the boxing for his hand to eye coordination,speed of feet and stamina and ballroom dancing for his balance.

This is a joke, right?

I can't imagine him ever leaving the southern hemisphere.



The only place in the northern hemisphere he would probably be interested in going to would be France.



The remotest possibility of him going to the northern hemisphere to play rugby league would be to Catalans, or to Toulouse if Toulouse was promoted to Super League, and built up a strong team. But that could only happen if the RFL (under the influence of Mr Koukash and others) had liberalised the salary cap rules so that a marquee player had no upper limits of 3rd party sponsorship. Even then I can't see it happening because SBW is a Kiwi with lots of family ties in Sydney.



Frankly I think that he will either stay another year at the Sydney Roosters, and then maybe return to rugby union in 2015 for the World Cup, or go back to rugby union next year. The NRL is going to back the Roosters attempt to keep him because they just lost Israel Folau to Australian rugby union for another 2 years (Folau could possibly return to the NRL in 2016).

If you'd watch him as an inside centre you'd see how many times he had his hands on the ball as a ball player distributor. Developed his handling skills making him a better player.

Clearly you have no idea about the differences in playing a 12 in Union (Inside centre) and a SR in league. Clearly playing inside centre would develop his passing game.

Never thought I'd say this but.....I've heard it all now!
