Your attack surprised me, really poor. Everything you did was reliant on Chase doing a trick to break us down, but once it became apparent that this wasn't working there was no plan B. Instead Chase just tried more audacious tricks which resulted in balls going on the floor and your attack looking even more disjointed. We defended well, but you didn't ask enough questions when you had it on our line.

How much is it Noble and how much is the players simply not being as good as you thought they were? You say you were much better on paper, but I look through your team from last night and there's only really 4 or 5 players that I would rate higher than their Hull counterparts.



Noble can perhaps be blamed for poor attacking structure and lack of a plan b. But your pack was soundly beaten by a very inexperienced and lightweight pack. In the starting pack we had a kid making his debut, and a guy at prop who had never played there before this season. The ages of 8-13 were 23, 25, 22, 21, 24 and 24, very young for a set of forwards at this level. Yet they made 260 more metres despite having less carries. Can you really blame the coach for the forwards not getting stuck in?
