| I seen enough of Salford on Thursday to suggest you will be harder to beat further down the track and with a few bodies back on board. The doctor clearly wants to win every game and getting beat by clubs such as ourselves really gets on his t[ii[/its. Playing the doctor who tune at the end really got his back up even though it was harmless fun, i can already see him plotting his revenge when we meet at magic weekend.  
You can't expect to throw a largely new squad together and start kicking a[ir[/ise straight away, its something which he needs to realise and it will take time (2 to 3 years like us) even with some good signings on board. Top 8 would be overall a fantastic achievement in his first full season in charge. |

Many Widnes `experts` on this thread. No surprise as the Chemics `fans` & those from Hull Kingston Rervers have always hated the Doc presumably because they originally thought that Salford would be certs for the drop until he came to the rescue.
The Doc will rain on their parade without a doubt & given time we will have a good unit.
What Widnes fans seem to forget was the fact that 80% of their `fans` were clamouring for Denis Betts` dismissal 18 months ago. Those of little faith & patience of course.

Given Widnes has a Liverpool dialling code, Everton reserves play at their stadium and listening to the local accent. Widnes people are pretty much Scousers.
And I totally agree with the above. That "Get into 'em" chant has to be the saddest heard in RL. |

Those three players all had good games, plus one or two others. The game could have gone either way, and the only thing that let you down was the performance from the Doctor. |

Did you notice the fact that Salford were lying on at every PTB just long enough to get away with it. Silverwood is not noted for blowing for penalties, but some referees would have penalised them far more than the one for a bad flop. |
