We were told the Australian currency and the Salary Cap would make the purchase of Antipodeans almost impossible.

If we go for an Antipodean coach how will he get to know the best of British talent at the warp speed the club wants to progress ?

Just because some clubs have done well with certain coaches doesn't mean it will be repeated at Salford where the infrastructure is different.

How many top players want to perform in front of 2k ?

I thought I read there was someone due to arrive from NZ with a reputation for bringing young players through so I think that the new regime see the need for this, basically the better quality of youngster you get into the squad the more of the salary cap can be used to bring the type of player who is really going to be the catalyst for improvement. I've always been a fan of bringing in Kiwis as they seem to adapt to the UK quicker and in the long run more successfully.

Brian Smith and John Cartwright. Smith would be a great appointment with John (The Legend ) Cartwright as his assistant and keep Longy as offensive coach. We would have Kudos, Motivation and Innovation to take us forward next season.
