Did he just say City were a big club? Jesus. When did you start watching football after 2008? Big clubs sell out and don't need to offer kids for £1 tickets.

And with that post any pretence at credibility has left the building.

Its quite sad when a thread like this turns into a comparing football clubs with rugby clubs. No matter who the clubs are, the environment they operate in and the money involved are totally different.



This thing about mercenaries is totally false, any sportsman or businessman moves on for three things 1) A new challenge 2) The chance to progress or achieve things 3) more money...IMO no one can claim otherwise unless the move holds sentimental reasons.



Teams go after players which they believe can help the team in the stage they are in. The job for Salford this year is to improve on previous seasons and this year we have the players to do that. We have progressed as a club and been able to attract a better class of player, using the salary cap we are entitled to. Next year we will do the same and so on and so forth.



As long as we have an owner who invests, we will only continue to grow as a club, attract better players and become more successful, its as simple as that.

Ditto Man Utd.

I think Man City were in the top 10 clubs for trophies and crowds even before the takeover. Whilst not being in the elite back then they certainly were a big club. They have certainly left the 'yesterdays men' of Liverpool and Man Utd in their wake thesedays and it doesnt get away from the fact Salford will NEVER attract world class players

Following a bit of criticism earlier on, "Bruce_Forsyth" has now upped his game a bit, and has improved his level of trolling.



It's still just trolling though, and the option to just ignore him is always available to you.

Koukash has now give up trying the salary cap abolished and have the marquee signing rule (all for the good of rugby like tho hahaha) and is now just going to offer teams cash for two points.
