Good 50 mins, but we faded pretty quickly after those first 2 saints tries in the second half. Almost like we had conceded the game at that point, so what happened next our players didn't care about. I was pretty happy until 50 mins. Very disheartened with what came after...

Without exaggerating I thought the first 40 minutes were the best of the season so far. I was really impressed with our defence and kicking game, we even looked expansive with the ball in hand at times too.
The second half was like a different team and we threw away all that excellent hard work with an embarrassing second 40. I don't know whether it was lack of fitness or not but I can't understand how you manage to come out so differently.
I seen enough to suggest that Nobby will get it right though.

I wanted Brian Smith or Daryll Powell as coach and anything that has happened since Noble has arrived has not made me feel any differerent. Hope he proves me wrong next year but for all his reputation and standing in the game, he still couldn't convince Whitehead the future is bright!

Firstly one off the worst St Helens sides I have seen in sixty years.All good sides I have seen in that time have had a good lose forward and two good half backs,that's where we should be starting from next season,two good half backs.

I didn't attend and found it an easy decision. Every season I have 3/4 Friday games that clash with other social commitments and I usually choose the rugby. The two recent Warrington performances have left me totally underwhelmed. Apart from one or two individuals this year has been a disaster. |
