| Myler = went on to wembley glory and the grand final
Ratchford = went on to wembley glory and the grand final and rep honours
Smith = went to warm the Wigan bench, enough reason WIGAN.
Holdsworth = has gone to ambitious Hull fc and will play with the likes of G.Ellis
Moon = is reported to be off to the champions and world champions.
Who'd swap Salford for the above.

| I blame the club 100% because had they not signed these players in the first place the bigger clubs would not of wanted them from us. Yet another example of poor signings. The recruitment strategy going forward has to be about not only signing sh#te but loyal sh#te.

| I'd say Moon and Holdsworth are different to Ratchford and Smith as the later 2 had reached the end of contracts and decided to move on. I have no problem with that, most of us would go for more money or different challenges.
As for the season ticket, I've had one since I was a kid, but I don't see this year as offering any value. With holidays etc I usually miss a couple of games, Monday games are difficult.
In previous years I have bought a season ticket in part to give the club the money up front. I am disillusioned with last season in particular. A move to the new ground should have been the start of a new era. The last season felt more a a duty than an enjoyable experience.

| Quote Jibmeister="Jibmeister"Yes indeed. The club's clearly struggling for cash and the team will need all the support they can get next season, but as you don't like the fact players are leaving you stay at home, keep warm, put your feet up and watch it all on Sky instead.'"
I think Red Willow was referring to the inconvenience of games being moved for sky, rather than being able to stay at home and watch them on tv. Monday night and 7.15pm on a Sunday are hardly fan friendly kick off times.
The main reason most people get a ST is to give a bit of money upfront to the club in the off season. With the lateness of them going on sale this year many people won't see the point now and just pay on the gate instead.

At the moment Jackie Gleeson would get a starting spot.
Wonder if they've let him go rather than pay him any owed back pay thus saving a fair bit. He was a class act when fit and will be a super star at Leeds but if he'd have spent all year pining for a move better he goes now. Seriously hope Ford is given a chance to stake his claim for a starting spot rather than Platt.

| Whilst undoubtedly a loss if he does go, lets face it, Moon's off home at the end of next season anyway, so maybe not that much of a loss anyway, might as well rebuild fully now, rather than do the same again at then end of this season.

Thanks, I was. The value of a season ticket is reduced further when the club runs deals for cheap tickets.

How true I think that statement may turn out to be, we all know the club never tell how many they've sold or more to the point how many they've not sold, but my guess is they (if ever) will be lucky to move a couple of hundred this year.

| The lateness of the release may prompt a few more to pay it by direct debit spreading the cost over the next 12 months and giving the club a all round income..... turns into a cheap verson of your council tax in a way and you can get on with christmas and saving for france ect
i would like to predict that when the club do announce the cost of a new season ticket there will be a lot of fans who shout
"HOW MUCH???....thats it for me never going again ect" just because they can

As opposed to what exactly Bobby ? them releasing the tickets early and people thinking fook that there early I won't bother I wanted to spread them over a different 12 months.
Ever thought of politics ?

It's a win win for me people who can't raise the cash for one hit payment pay it over the next 12 month. The club get a steady income everyone is happy, with the takeover still on going would be unfair on our new owners not to have a say on the price on the season tickets?
Hopefully they will stagger the payments say £50 1st payment then £17.00 a month after or somethin
We shall see what happens
