Well I was going to pop down to the club this week and look at a season ticket as I now know I can make Friday night home games but after this I'm undecided about if it's a good ideal or not.

You know you have to do it - it's character building watching Salford, after all if we didn't go on a Friday night what would we have to whinge about all weekend

Half of the players didn't even look bothered today, McRae needs to give some aspirational speeches to them and they need a kick up the back side. However, saying that the tactics are just the same, its bad rugby and also boring to watch, no wonder we have hardly any fans! When were defending and the opposition is playing the ball why don't we meet their attacking player half way and get up to them quick and put a big hit in, it never happens, they just stand there waiting for them to run at us giving the opposition team more momentum to their run and it makes it harder to take them down. In attack aswell why do the players stand there wait for a pass then run? Why don't they run on to the pass, no wonder we never make decent metres. For me McRae's time must be up soon, I say JW should give him 4 more games max, if we don't win atleast 2 of them he should be gone.

Another casualty if McRae was to go could be Steve Simms? If the club have no money to pay him off they may consider making the Football Director position redundant and then use this saving towards the salary of a new coach. I'm not saying this would happen but it's a sensible business option if things don't improve quickly and attendances drop.

Well I take no delight in saying Salford were poor.In fact poor is being generous.

As you are now our new tennants in common i have to say unless they get rid of Mcrae and Simms you may well be joining the Lions in Championship 1 next year.

Many of you are complaining about the game time for Palleasina....but in reality he only played the same amount of time with Wigan,just they had better players around him.

It may also be time for Mr Salford to resign as well after all in all the years he has been top dog Salford have been little better than a top championship one side.

Good luck next week against Saints and if a few of you are stuck for anything to do on Sunday nip and watch the Lions.

You ignore totally the question of who has been funding the club "..i all the years.." - For Mr Salford to go needs someone else to come in and fund the club, rather easier said than done!!!!

Isn't this the thing you have dreamed of for years Marshy? Without him Swinton would probably be on a par with Salford right now wouldn't they? Let's face it there hasn't been much interest from local businessmen willing to throw their dosh at rugby clubs in this area over the last 30 years has there?

The sooner we get SM and SS out the better!



He clearly hasn't done a thing with our lads all pre-season and without a dedicated/ enthusiastic / talented (take your pick which one) coach I seriously doubt we'll see an improvement anytime soon. If he can't get a challenging team out of the players we currently have he doesn't deserve to be in the sport!!
